Comic-Con 2019: The glasses. He sucks. The motorcycle. The airplanes. The official trailer of 'Top Gun: Maverick' with Tom Cruise
The sequel to 'Top Gun (Idols of the air)' (1986), also with Val Kilmer, Miles Teller, and Jon Hamm, in cinemas in the summer of 2020.
"The end is inevitable, Maverick, theirs go straight to extinction." "Maybe ... but not today." Now you can see under these lines, fresh out of the Comic-Con 2019, the first and spectacular trailer of Top Gun: Maverick. The sequel to the mythical Top Gun (Idols of the Air) (1986) by Tony Scott premieres in Spanish cinemas in the summer of 2020 and, how could it be otherwise, Tom Cruise returns as the Maverick aircraft pilot, now as a man of more than 30 years of service, with combat medals and mentions, who does not achieve a promotion and does not retire. This is Maverick.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy, Oblivion), the film maintains the spirit of the original and respects all the elements that made Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell (Tom Cruise) become an icon of 80's cinema... Sunglasses. He sucks. The patches. The motorcycle. The airplanes.
Apart from Cruise, who only needs to resume his role as Brian Flanagan in Cocktail (1988), the cast of the new Top Gun also features Val Kilmer as Thomas 'Iceman' Kazansky, Miles Teller as Bradley Bradshaw-Nick's son 'Goose' Bradshaw, former partner of Maverick-, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Jean Louisa Kelly, etc. Have not you seen the trailer yet?
