For a long time, Dwayne Johnson"The Rock" Johnson is the eponymous DC anti-hero in the upcoming "Black Adam". Now, apparently, his opponent is found: the flying superhero Hawkman. A brutal duel of the archenemy is counted...
Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" ("Hobbs & Shaw") will not appear as an opponent of Shazam in "Shazam 2" after he was first announced for part one and then nothing came - this is what his "Black Adam" takes - Solo film but more and more concrete forms.
Johnson, who was cast in the role of the anti-hero in 2014, will in the upcoming film by director Jaume Collet-Serra get once another nemesis as Shazam to the thrashing. That Hashtag Show wants to know that this is DC superhero Hawkman.
HAWKMAN AND BLACK ADAM
Although the occasional sissy Black Adam is himself washed with all the water, he has a hard nut to crack with Hawkman, the two in their long history but often clashed. A brutal duel seems so inevitable.
In most comic versions, Hawkman is a hawk-like aviator of the archaeologist Carter Hall, the modern rebirth of an ancient Egyptian prince. Hall fights crimes in an ancient falcon costume that can actually fly due to an alien metal. Often his lover Hawkgirl is at his side. Supposedly, it is planned since 2011 to introduce the popular Hawkman in the DCEU.
Hawkman most recently appeared in the series "Smallville" by Michael Shanks and in "Flash", "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow" by Falk Hentschel. It will, therefore, be interesting to see who could take on this role in "Black Adam" if the information turns out to be correct. After all, it must be an actor who can really be dangerous to the muscular Dwayne Johnson on the big screen.
In addition to Hawkman, the DC characters Atom Smasher and Stargirl are also to have an appearance that leads to a love affair in the comics. According to Johnson, the filming of "Black Adam" will start in 2020. The film is expected to be online at the earliest in 2021, and there are a few other DCEU projects to come.
