Taika Waititi will direct a 'small' movie for Fox Searchlight before Marvel's 'Thor: Love and Thunder'

Although he will release the Marvel Studios Phase 4 movie Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021, Taika Waititi promise to surprise earlier, on January 24, 2020, with Jojo Rabbit, starring actress Scarlett Johansson. But, also, it turns out that the New Zealand filmmaker has a secret and more 'tiny' project for Fox Searchlight before the expected sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017).
According to Variety, Taika Waititi will write and direct a film still without a title that, if nothing changes, will begin shooting in the fall before the production of Love and Thunder, with Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster / Thor) and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), kick-off in 2020. What do we know about this film? Absolutely nothing. But, without a doubt, it is good news. Remember that Fox Searchlight is behind Jojo Rabbit, 12 years of slavery and the shape of water, among others.
